 Coca-Cola has just shared some special digital art on a place called Coinbase. This art is called a Masterpiece NFT. It's like a picture you can only see on the computer.

Coinbase started a fun event called "Onchain Summer" on August 9th. They wanted to show how cool the Base is. They talked about Coca-Cola's digital art as part of this event. 

They also talked about games and music you can enjoy on the Base. They want to show that the Base works really well and doesn't cost too much. It's like a fast and cheap way to use the internet!


Details of the Masterpiece NFT Collection

The iconic Coca-Cola bottle is combined with vintage or modern art in the Coca-Cola NFT collection. The collection includes well-known works of art including "The Scream" by Edvard Munch and "Girl with a Pearl Earring" by Johannes Vermeer.

The press release states that "Coca-Cola is bringing their Global Masterpiece campaign on-chain with iconic works from leading artists."

Notably, since the mint was revealed on Sunday, the mint.fun platform has been used to mint about 50,000 NFTs. Up until Wednesday, the minting period is anticipated to last.

The Summer Campaign for Onchain

Coinbase launched its "Onchain Summer" campaign to mark the launch of Base's mainnet, and it will end on August 30. The advertisement showcases numerous Base-powered on-chain artistic, gaming, and musical endeavors. Optimism, Atari, and Friends With Benefits are notable attendees at the event.


Furthermore, in association with the anonymous cryptocurrency enthusiast Cozomo de' Medici, Friends With Benefits has introduced "New Era ETH" and "New Era BTC" NFTs. Jesse Pollak, the lead for protocols at Coinbase, indicated that businesses who create and deploy on Base may be entitled to financial aid.
